The SDO is a non-governmental organization dedicated to humanitarian and development efforts in Bangladesh. Established on October 25, 1993, by Mercy International (الرŘŮ…Ř© العالمية), SSTS operates under NGO Bureau Bangladesh Ordinance No. 46, 1978, with registration number 760.

Our programs include orphan care, vocational and technical training, poverty alleviation, small business support, educational scholarships, school and health facility construction, and Qur’an memorization initiatives.
While our primary operations are in Bangladesh, we have worked in countries like Indonesia, Nepal, India, Sri Lanka, Cambodia, the Philippines, and Thailand. Our organizational base is in Kuwait and Qatar.
We are funded through donations from individuals, institutions, and charitable partners. These contributions help us implement both emergency response and long-term development projects.
