About

The Society Development Organization (SDO) is a nonprofit, non-partisan, and community-driven organization dedicated to social development, humanitarian support, and sustainable growth in Bangladesh. Established with a vision to build a just and prosperous society, SDO works at the grassroots level to empower the underprivileged, ensure access to basic human needs, and promote long-term community resilience.

Our Vision: To create an inclusive society where every individual has access to education, healthcare, clean water, food, and dignity.

Our Mission: To implement impactful development programs that improve the quality of life for marginalized communities through innovation, participation, and sustainable solutions.

What We Do:

We focus on both Internal Projects (self-funded) and External Projects (donor-supported) that include:

• Food distribution for the needy
• Installation of tube wells and clean water systems
• Educational support for poor children
• Mosque and shelter construction
• Emergency relief during disasters
• Awareness campaigns on health, hygiene, and social rights
